Commonly referred to as herb, weed, kaya, sinsemilla (Spanish for “without seeds”), or ganja (from the Sanskrit word ganjika, used in ancient Nepal and India), is a spiritual act, often accompanied by Bible study; Rasta’s consider it a sacrament that cleans the body and mind, heals the soul, exalts the consciousness, facilitates peacefulness, brings pleasure, and brings them closer to Jah (God).


Rasta use of ganja can’t be compared with its recreational uses elsewhere in the West. Rastafarians emphasize harmony with the world and nature, and ganja is used in the context of the Rastas’ “I-tal” diet, which involves not just being a vegetarian, but eating foods free of salts, preservatives, condiments, avoiding coffee, alcohol, or other drugs, and living off the land whenever possible.

It would appear to some, that ital is a general term for Rastafarian vegetarian food, but in reality, ital is Rastas unique way of preparing their cuisine. It’s their roots gourmet to be exact, and a sacrament for the temple, the word used by Rastafarians to refer to the body.

Do I need a medical license to order?

No you do not need a medical license to order but if you do submit your license and have your medical license approved you will receive an additional 5% off all product. Once you sign up you can submit your license for approval.

Do I need a government issued ID to order?

Yes, you need a valid government issue ID to order. You can upload your ID during checkout or navigating to your My Account > Government Issued ID. Accepted file formats are only .JPG and .PNG with maximum file size of 5mb.


How do I place an Order?

Here’s a step-by-step guide to placing your order online with headzshop.co.

  1. Locate the products you are interested in ordering by going to /shop/.
  2. Click on the desired product(s), choose your quantity, and then click “Add to Cart.”
  3. When you have all your products in your shopping cart and are ready to checkout, click on the shopping cart icon (top-right of your screen) and you will be redirected to the “View Cart” page.
  4. Check to see if everything looks right. If you have a coupon code, enter the code and click “Apply Coupon.”
  5. When you’re ready. click on the green “Proceed to Checkout” button.
  6. In the Checkout page, you will need to login with your email address and password. If this is your first time registering with us, you will need to create an account.
  7. Once you’ve filled in all the required fields, you’ll then click “Place Order” on the “Checkout Confirmation” page. You will see your order number and instructions on sending an Interac e-Transfer. Orders only ship after e-Transfer has been received.
  8. Once we collect your e-Transfer, your order will be processed and shipped the following business day. You can track your parcel via your Dashboard.

What methods of payment do you accept?

How do I send an Interac e-Transfer

If you use online banking with a Canadian bank/credit union, then sending an Interac e-Transfer takes just a couple of minutes.

I sent my e-Transfer. What next?

It could take up to 40 minutes for us to receive your e-Transfer email notifying us of your payment. Your e-Transfer will be pending until we deposit the funds when we process your order.

If we receive your e-Transfer by 12:00pm PST Monday–Friday (Nationwide), your order will be shipped the same business day. Otherwise, it will be shipped the following business day. Orders received after 12:00pm Friday will be shipping the following Monday. We do not ship Saturday or Sunday.

You will be notified via email once your package has been shipped.

What are the shipping fees?

Orders over $200.00 Nationwide (Canada) receive free Regular Canada Post shipping. Unless you want your shipping expedited as per the additional options below all orders you make will receive free shipping over $200.00

What will happen to my order if I don't submit payment?

Once you’ve placed your order, the next step in the process will be to submit an Interac e-Transfer. Your order will be kept on hold until we receive your e-Transfer. If we do not receive your payment within 2 days, your order will be canceled.

Is there Tax?

Appropriate taxes per province have been added to all orders at checkout


Canada Post tracking information has not updated recently

If you’re tracking your package on Canada Post’s website and it has not updated in some time, it’s most likely due to your package missing a scan, which is fairly common.

However, more often than not, members get their packages on time or a day later. If you do not receive it 2 days after your expected date, let us know so we can file a trace with the post office.

If a trace is filed, Canada Post will conduct an investigation (which can take 5 business days to complete).



Can I order for my family or friends?

No, members may not order for their family members or friends. If your family or friend(s) wish to also get products, they need to go through our sign-up process and we will ship to them directly.

How long does it take? Will I have my order the next day?


  • Delivery: All orders are guaranteed by Canada Post to arrive on time, with the exception of Newfoundland, Nunavut, and the Northwest Territories.
  • Delivery Options: Orders over $200.00 are shipped regular delivery. You are able to expedite delivery with these additional paid for delivery options. Regular Parcel, Expedited, Priority & XpressPost Parcel.
  • Payment: Must be received before 12 pm  Monday–Thursday (excluding holidays).
  • Delivery Delays: Depending on your location, some smaller towns or remote locations may have a slightly longer delivery process.
  • Weekend Orders: We do not ship out parcels Saturday or Sunday. If you place an order over during those days, your parcel will be shipped out the following business day once we have received payment.
  • Free Regular Delivery: Orders over $200.00.
What’s the packaging going to look like and say?

Our packaging is very discreet. All packages come from a non-identifiable company and are vacuum sealed.

Can I track my parcel?

Yes, once your package has been shipped via Canada post you can track your parcel from the Dashboard. Your parcel tracking number will work after 5:00pm. Any tracking numbers send out after 12pm on Thursday will not work until the following Monday at 5:00pm.

What happens if my parcel arrives with incorrect or damaged items?

If you receive a parcel that is damaged, please send a photo and short description to orders@headzshop.co so our team can rectify the issue as soon as possible.

How will my order be shipped?

We provide our patients with access to ganja (marijuana) via Canada Post. Patients can get their order delivered within a 1–5 day span.

Can I add/edit/cancel my order?

You can only edit your order before payment is made. If you have already paid, you can make a separate order for the additional items you would like—or you can cancel the order and the e-Transfer to make an entirely new order.

How will my order be packaged?

Your order will be discretely packaged and vacuum sealed to protect and maintain your privacy. We use discreet, mail envelopes, non-descript boxes, and there is absolutely no indication of what is inside. You will receive your order in 1–3 business days, depending on where in Canada you reside. Please allow an extra couple of business days if you live in a remote area.

Do you ship outside of Canada?

No, we do not ship outside of Canada.

What if I do not recieve my package?

If you do not get your package 2 days after the expected arrival date, let us know and we will file a trace with Canada Post.

If a trace is filed, Canada Post will conduct an investigation (which can take 5 business days to complete). If they can locate the package, they will ship it to you and you’ll get it a few days later. If it’s deemed “unrecoverable”, we will send you a 1x replacement package, free of charge.

We do not offer postage refunds if your order arrives late due to any postal issues.

Due to a recent increase of lost, delayed, and seized packages by Canada Post, at this time we are no longer guaranteeing any orders being shipped to Nunavut, Northwest Territories, Rural Quebec. Order at your own risk if shipping to these locations.

Do I have to live in Canada?

Yes, you must live in Canada and have a valid Canadian address to ship products to.

What age do I have to be to order Ganja (marijuana)?

To purchase Ganja (marijuana) products, you must be 19 years of age or older and be able to provide a government-issued photo ID such as a drivers license, passport, or BC ID.

What is the Difference between a Sativa and Indica

Medicinal ganja can be used to treat a wide variety of common conditions. Generally, medicinal ganja results in the user having a sense of greater physical and mental relaxation, pain reduction, increased appetite, and better sleep. However, there are two main varieties of medicinal ganja plants, and each offers a different set of benefits. Understanding the difference between the two is important to finding the right strain for each patient.

The two major types of ganja plants are Indica and Sativa.

Each strain has it’s own range of effects on the body and mind resulting in a wide range of medicinal benefits. Indica strains generally provide a sense of deep body relaxation.

Sativa strains tend to provide a more energizing experience. Typically, ganja Indica plants are short, bushy plants with wide leaves.

Indica plants typically grow faster and have a higher yield than the sativa variety. Medicine produced from ganja Indica plants have higher CBD and lower THC counts.

Cannabis strains range from pure Sativa to pure Indica and hybrid strains consisting of both Indica and Sativa (30% Indica – 70% Sativa, 50% – 50% combinations, 80% Indica – 20% Sativa).

The major qualities of Indica medicinal strains include
